Budapest has taken aim at the Western sweet life, even though the red star of socialism still hangs over the city. The more you work, the more money you’ll make. The creation of private businesses, a rise in consumer demand, and even the invention of the Rubik’s Cube prove that Hungary’s success is home-grown and here to stay. 
60 Minutes went to Hungary to see how the Soviet satellite state has become an engine of private enterprise with plenty to eat.
